In CHARGE

Tonight my parents and Mr. & Mrs. Bradley went out to dinner, and we were the ones in charge! (above) Little P.J headed right for the bottles. :) Cute. <3 

Marcus and Terell were VERY helpful by setting the table, cleaning the kitchen, washing down the counters, sweeping the floors, etc. Thanks boys!

The littles followed Caitlin into the boys room, to watch, "Prince of Egypt." They were SO excited. *smile*

Dylan had a fun time with our "fancy" garbage cans. :)

And, Felicity and Victory, did the dishes. Thanks guys!

Sunday

We all had a BLAST on Sunday. (The pictures above were taken at night, while playing, '5 spike.' )

The J. Berkompas', T. Berkompas', Mack's, vangelders, Brian V, Nathan E, Von Der Luft's, Sausevills, Halls, and Seiferts came over for a fun time of volleyball and snacks. Thank the LORD for brothers and sisters in Christ such as these!!!

Unfortunately I do not have any pictures of making the dessert, BUT I do have the results! :) This cake was so much fun to make...though it provided mountians of.........dare I say it, DISHES.

But this dessert was WELL worth all of these dishes...trust me! I have the dessert recipe if y'all want. :)

Little Humor...

A mother was preparing pancakes for her sons and they began arguing over who would get the first one. Thier mother saw the opportunity for a moral lesson.
"If Jesus were sitting here, He'd say, 'Let my brother have the first pancake, I can wait.'"
Kevin turned to his brother and said, "Ryan, you be Jesus."

House cleaning~

Girls room, clean AT LAST!

Everything is sparkling clean! And a good many thanks to the kiddos for thier wonderful help and obedience. :)

Landscaping on my own~

I started the out-side work with mowing...my fave job. :) And as you can see, we needed it!

Next job...Edging and weed-eating! And I'm all decked out! *Wink*

Chopped down all of the long grass at last!! *cheer*

Want to make a really good dessert? Start here~

Chocolate chips..

Add two teaspoons of vanilla...

Till the last drop... *smile*

A pinch of salt...

4 eggs....fresh. :)

Then pour VERY HOT coffe into the mixture...

And let the mixing begin!

Pour the mixture into different fun glasses...               

And place into the fridge for a couple hours to set up. After that is done lather in whipped cream.

What is the dessert called? pots de creme.

I tried it today and I really like it. :) If you want the exact recipe then just let me know and I'll give it to ya. :)

It is like a pudding almost, that tastes like coffee and chocolate...VERY GOOD! You should seriously try it!
