A try....

I made the "coffee cake" again, but decorated it a little more. :)

*smile* love this pic!

It took SUCH a long time to get it all smooth...

All nice and purrdy. ;p

Here comes the trick. I wanted a certain design that I found on the computer, so I enlarged it to the perfect size, printed it, cut out most of the colored parts, then traced it with a tooth-pick. ( I love those things!)
VERY hard!

When I took the paper off, it looked like this.~ Kinda hard to see, I know.

next off, the chocolate! Mmmmmmm. ;p

As you can see, I did not follow it very well. :/ But, never-the-less, it was worth the try!

The Caitlin post...

Caitlin.....so cute!

Caitlin- 16 years old, the first born in a family of 8, Fun, loves the out-doors, animals, bugs, birds, adventures, quads, and just a pure simple life. Her dream car is a dark green truck, with a silver line going down the side, and that makes a "real truck' noise. Caitlin is a wonderful artist as well. She loves to draw birds, horses, and anything GOD created beautiful. :)
Caitlin, you are loved by many. ~

I remember when....

We were all Blondie's then....so cute! <3
*lol* Your face, not half of your body! Silly sheep.
This photo was taken when we were all at the Clark County Fair. The Gal sitting between Felicity and I, is Margret Watson. (I am not sure if you all know who they are, they used to go to Westminster.) We all look SO young!
This little "fat head" is Alainna. yep! The one and the same!
And here she is when she was around one. Papa put a ball in her pants, so she waddled like a penguin. It was hilarious!
Sitting, (or standing in this case) around the fire and roasting marshmallows. Such a fun activity!
Little Alainna always loved messing with the measuring cups in the little doors. :) Isn't she just the cutest little thing?
My family....when it was little. :) (I know, I know. I look like a poodle.)
I look a tad bit better here though. Thank the LORD.
Papa and Marcus, sledding down the hill, when we went to get our Christmas tree.
Sisters. <3
I LOVE This picture of Caitlin and I. You can tell we have ALWAYS been close friends as well as sisters. :)

Well, though this post is a little choppy, I hope you enjoyed it. I love looking back and seeing how the LORD has worked in our lives. Through all of my childhood, (so far) I always remember going on trips, having cool adventures, and just being in a happy family. Though my life was not, and will not be perfect in every way, I will always be thankful for the one I have, and thank the LORD for every minute I spend with my wonderful family. As the years go on, I pray that this generation, the next generation, and many Koch generations to come, may always be filled with a love for the LORD, meditation of his word, and joy for the hope he has given us. Thank you LORD for the many blessings that you have poured out on your servant!
~~~
"Do not fear, O Jacob my servant; and you Jeshurun, whom I have chosen. For I will pour out water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out My spirit on your offspring and My blessing on your descendants; and they will spring up among the grass like poplars by streams of water."
Isaiah
~~~
" Enter his gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. give thanks to Him, bless His name. For the LORD is good; His loving kindness is everlasting, and His faithfulness to all generations."
Psalm 100:4-5

BREAD MADE BEAUTIFUL

Note: a single batch of 'beer bread' only calls for one bottle of beer, but I am making a double. :) And no, your kids will NOT get tipsy on it. :p Trust me. :)
First you pour the beer into a bowl, and let it fizz for a while.
Pour the beer in, till the very, very, very last drop. Because you know, every drop counts! ;p
Then add 4 TBS of sugar into the beer, and make sure one of your kiddos are around, they will be fascinated what the beer does when you pour the sugar in. :)
(P.S. Yes, I know, it looks like I am pouring a cup of sugar in, but to tell the truth, it is really only one TBS! *chuckle* Oh for the trickery of photography!)
Set the 'sugar beer' aside, then mix in the flour, baking powder, and baking soda, and.....
Create a avalanche!!!!
Now don't worry, the mixture WILL BE lumpy and awful looking. It's just the way it is. It's not the cook. It's not just you. You are not tired. You are not wierd.............. Yes, I know, I am the illuminator of all worry!! hip hip!
Lumpy mass, get ready to be beautiful!
While we were waiting for the oven to do it's work, I snapped a picture of my helper and I. (those blue eyes! Man, he sure is cute!)
My heart leaped as the timer said, "DING!"  I raced over to the oven and pulled the door open, to reveal a lovely loaf of beer bread. *sniff* Oh man, if this is not a good loaf of bread...I don't know what is!

(as always, exact recipe is available. )

Another blessing from GOD~

On a nice Sunday evening, the Seifert Family had us all over for dinner, and I am telling y'all, Mrs. Seifert is an EXCELLENT cook! She made a delicious dinner for all of us!
(is your mouth watering yet?)
Before dinner, all of the kids, (And adults) washed thier hands, and then got in line!
yummm yummm yummmmm!!! Looking good Mrs. Seifert!

And after dinner, sweet Alainna wanted to wash the dishes. Awww. She is a cute little gal.

The night ended with a relaxing conversation and thankfulness for friends such as these.
Thanks for the wonderful night Seifert Family!

Friends yet to be~

cute J.Q
Micah,
..... ..and Joshua. (who I have no picture of. :/ )
May they be wonderful friends in the years to come!

A GIFT FROM GOD

He is used to it! ;p  (you can tell!)
*lol* I love his face in this one! TOO cute! <3
This one too! (lets just say, I love his face in ALL of them! :P There. )

*chuckle*
Silly! I do this face to you, you can't do it to do it to ME!!!!
.........
Jacob's fave word~  Jacob gets a KICK out of saying, "moose." Yep, sounds wierd, but that is the pure truth of it! He is saying it in this picture and every time he says it he cracks out in a burst of laughter....
......like this. :)
Aaaaghhhh!! BUG! ( He is a Jessica's boy, that's for sure!)
Jacob, I thank the LORD that he sent you to us. You are one of the many gifts that the LORD has given me....and you will be cherished. :) Be sure of that!
Love,
 your big sis.

Kids love lunch

Little J.Q. never stops making me laugh!
I love his cute little look. :)
*smile*
100% boys! And Jacob is such a poser! Levi just ate his lunch and did not care if I was taking a picture, but J.Q. on the other hand, did this wierd pose for the camera. :) Too cute! <3 (P.S. we do not normaly put 'pink' bibs on our boys...just to make that clear. :)
Now, what do you mom's, (or older sisters) think that this here boy is doing? knowing that you have had the experiance with kids, you will most likely think he is licking the jelly off of the counter. :) And you would be CORRECT! I guess the jelly in the sandwitch was not as good as the jelly on the counter. *lol*
Just one of the joys of life...watching your siblings eat thier lunch! *smile*
