HUGE leaf pile

After work on Friday, we came home with a huge truck load of leaves. Caitlin and I had the job of un-loading it. Ha ha-fun. So I brought my camera along. Most of the time I put it on a bucket and set the timer to take a photo of Caitlin and I jumping off together...but that did not work out so well. :)

HUGE, eh? It was 6:00pm by the time we finished emptying it.

I was so upset that this photo turned out to be blurry! It was so breath-takingly beautiful. But, as many of you know, the GT does not stay in one place, so I have to take pictures as fast as I can.

Cedar Creek Grist Mill

Friday, last week, the Seifert kids spent the night. The next morning Papa took Danny and Marcus hunting, and when they came back, we all headed out to meet Mr, and Mrs. Seifert at the grist mill. And I'm telling ya, that line was HUGE!!! It took us about 2 hours until we actually reached the door of the Grist mill. Crazy, but worth it. We got 6,  1/2 gallons of fresh apple Cider for free. yummmmm....

The mill is so cute.

And I loved their waterfall.

Cute gloves, eh? The kiddos had fun helping cut the apples. The safe way. :)

This was only HALF or less, of the people waiting in line. Pretty bizarre.

After the Grist Mill, we all headed on over to the Oak Tree Restaurant for $2 french fries and hot coco.

After morning service, lunch, and evening service, we had the great joy of entertaining the Seifert and Mack families. We had a delicious dinner, then ate popcorn and cookies while watching "God's outlaw." A spectacular movie of the life of William Tyndale. We had planned to watch Martin Luther, which the Seiferts received from netflix. But...when we all settled down up there, we found out that it was cracked! I was shocked. William Tyndale was just as good. If you have not seen it, I would recommend it.

Out of all scenery, I think I like old, old barns on a field with fresh-cut hay. Maybe with some wild flowers growing around it, and ivy growing up the side. So breath-takingly stunning!

I love the ferns growing here, against faded red barn.

I couldn't get the color right in this one...I should try it again, because I love the setting.

Kayla and I dared to go up to the second floor. After climbing a creaky stair with missing steps, we arrived at the floor with missing floor boards. Smart. It was worth it though. I took this photo. :)
