"Scuntch salad"

Levi, Alainna, and Jacob constantly play around in the pond area. They are like the last of the "White tribes," running up and down fallen trees, fishing for frog eggs, blending in with the mud, and eating "scuntch Salad."

~One day Levi came up to the house crying, "My mouth stings!!! My mouth is really spicy!!!" We asked him why is mouth was on fire, and he had a hilarious response, "Alainna made me eat her Scuntch Salad and it burned my mouth!" (translation: Alainna made me eat her Skunk cabbage salad, and it burned my mouth.) Yep! He ate skunk cabbage! What a boy!  (Picture of Skunk cabbage above)

This little fella here, the one with those big blue puppy eyes, was found eating a whole cube of butter like it was corn-on-the-cob. Does it really taste that good? Does it feel good in his mouth? Or, does he just want to eat it because nobody ever feeds him, and he is absolutely starving out of his mind? I have absolutely no idea...

New play structure!

The little kiddos are so spoiled. And, to tell the truth, so am I! ;o) Papa, along with some help from the Woltersdorfs and us kiddos, put together this play structure for the little ones. They absolutely adore it, and love to play on it every day...but, like most of us here, are waiting for the sun to finally show it's face in the dreary sky.

 SUPER cool. We just picked this truck up a couple days ago, and now Papa takes it everywhere! It will serve as our "Ridgeway Landscaping" truck, and much, much more.

 Tough.

 Papa built the sides and gate, and is going to be painting them soon.
