Caitlin

This picture best represents Caitlin's personality. She loves being outdoors, hiking, fishing, camping, taking pictures, taking in God's wonderful creation. She also loves finding a tree (of in this cast a HUGE rock) to sit on with a good book.

This was taken in Cannon Beach this spring. Caitlin loves bright colors, especially Orange.

This was taken during her 13th birthday party. Laurn presented her with a purity locket and had the whole house in tears with his promise to protect her and find her a suitable young man to marry some day. She promised to only give her heart to her father until that day.

Often when Laurn gets home for working or at the end of a had days work on the house he charges in and announces "it's time to go hunting kids" They all rush to their safe, get their BB guns and run out after him. Caitlin is an incredible shot.

Jessica

Jessica is a wonderful young lady. She loves the outdoors almost as much as she loves working inside the house. She usually spends her time cleaning and cooking and looking after/ playing with the little ones. She is a fun babysitter and makes the daily chores fun by playing livly music and making a game out of the chores. She is a wonderful cook and can be trusted with any meal. She loves being around the little girls at church and is usually followed by several each Sunday. She is a great daughter to have around.

Felicity

She had a great time hiking to Silver Star last summer
She is always excited for a new baby to come and loves holding them. She doesn't so much like changing diapers but usually does it without too much of a fuss.
She had a great time buggy boarding with her Papa last May in Texas

Felicity is a great help to me. She has really grown up. She loves to be with the family and do whatever her big sisters are doing. She wants to be just like them. She also likes to be with her grandfather. She takes art lessons from him and loves to help him get is groceries at Costco. I'm sure the ice cream she gets every time they go to Costco helps her motivation as well.
She will be 10 this July and we are looking forward to watching her become a capable and Godly young lady.

Marcus

Marcus want's to be just like his dad.


Next is Marcus. Our first born son. We were all so excited to have a boy finally. He sure is all boy. He is a very sweet boy and tender hearted as well. He loves to work with Laurn when he can. He recently went on a couple of jobs with him. This week it was pulling weeds at an account. He was really excited when I picked him up because not only did he earn $2 whole dollars for 30 min of work, but he also go a frog. Marcus is great about playing with Levi and Alainna. He is a good big brother.

Levi often times has to sit with Papa for being a little to wild. On this occasion he decided he should us the time wisely and took a nap standing up.

LEVI

Levi is our 2 year old tornado. He is a very sweet boy but "oh boy" is he busy!! He wants to be just like his Papa and he already is. He loves to play with Papa and Marcus. Every time he sees some kind of equipment, truck, tractor he wants in it. He knows what to do when he gets in one too. He loves is when Marcus gives he and Alainna rides around the house. And, for some reason our Levi LOVES MUD. He has been found face first in a puddle drinking it like he sees his dog Tally do. One last thing about our sweet boy, HE LOVES TO EAT!!

ALAINNA

Today we will introduce Alainna. She is our 3 year old princess. She is quite a little lady. Her nick name is lady bug. She is very busy these days and loves to help do anything she can. She is often found washing things around the house and folding laundry. She is learning her letters and will begin reading next year. She will be 4 years old this September.

INTRODUCTIONS

Today we thought we would start by introducing our youngest. Jacob Quentin Koch was born on October 10, 2007. He has been a joy to the whole family. On his 5 month birthday he had surgery to repair two holes in his diaphragm. He recovered well and only missed one meal. He has been gaining 2 pounds per month ever since.

Today is our first day blogging. We are not sure what we are doing and it took us about 2 hours to finally figure it out. We are going to use this to update all our friends and family on what really goes on at the Koch home. We hope you enjoy the pictures and we look forward to your comments.
