GOODBYE

Last week, we sold our lovely volvo c70 convertible. :( It was a really sweet car. Nice and fast, super cool with the top down, and just a really cool car all together. I will always have a whole lot of fun memories with the car.......who wouldn't?!?! ;p
( I am not trying to make this sound like a funeral. :) I am quite okay with it.....really )

Little eggs...

So sweet!

Just thought I'd share. :)

Living the life...

Okay, I just HAD to have this one first. Everything about it is just perfect. I would really enjoy to hear what you all think of it. :) And actually, I was kinda surprised that it turned out this good, because it was really windy and everything was moving so fast. Must have been the LORD's will. :)

....See what I mean?
I think it is pretty though, when all of the grass flows with the wind.

HORRID quality, (I did not have time for editing any of these pictures, as you can see.) But I just love buttercups. <3

Oh, for the simple things in life...

I really like this one too. The fields in the background, and the purple wheat in focus, all say country!

No words to express...

This is the tall, tractor driving, garden growing, grass chewing, children raising, farming dominion taker. Oh ya!

This is another one of my favorite photos, though it would not be safe to say that I took it....:(  Papa was behind the camera this time, and I, his assistant who held the flowers. :)
Seriously, you could put this one in a frame!!!

Well, I hope you all enjoyed the photos. It was so much fun to go up into the fields and take pictures, pick flowers, and ride the quad.

This is my life. This is country. And I am thankful.

For your perfect enjoyment....

Well, after chores in the morning, then wood cutting in the afternoon, we were all pretty hot. So Papa, being so sweet  and kind to his little kiddos, said that we could either go to the river (which would be freezing) and completely submerge, or....we could just walk across the MIDDLE of the pond....in our clothes of course. All of the other kids wanted to go to the river, but I, on the other hand, thought it would be better to just go down to the pond and get it over with then and there! Papa, thank the LORD, gave the decision to me, whither it be the river or pond. I chose the pond, much to the disappointment of my fellow comrade's. *smile*
But, I said this on one condition....that Papa would go in too!!! He, being the man that he is, agreed.

......
When we all got down there, I, being the bravest, *lol* went first. (papa said that he would, but I'd rather just get in there and GET IT DONE!!!)
So, sit back, have a glass of milk and a couple of cookies as you enjoy these pictures....

Getting in...ohh, just a LITTLE on the cold side. *grin*

making it across the pond...as FAST as I can.

And...*drum roll* Da da! I made it! I did not die, I did not faint...I'm ALIVE! Can you believe it!?!?!?! *lol*
FYI- not meaning to gross you all out, but there was a foot of mud at the bottom! Yuck!

Next up....Caitlin!

She was going too fast across the pond, that Papa could not get a picture of her in the middle, so......he made her go back in the middle, just so he could take her picture. *smile* If it were not for Papa, I am not sure how many stories I would be able to tell my children! :)

And yes, she did not die either. :)

Marcus...had it harder. :) Being as short as he is right now, the water went higher on him then it did on Caitlin and I. Sorry Marcus, you have just got to man up!

Swimming across...
...then safely landing on land. :)

Now, the moment you have all been waiting for.....PAPA'S TURN!

Getting in the water...Notice that he still has his boots on! *lol*

Making his way,

And, he walks to the other side, VICTORIOUS!! *cheer*

*chuckle* I hope you all have enjoyed these pictures! Tell me what you thought!

Flowers~

Sorry folks, no time for editing, but I hope you'll enjoy them never-the-less! The picture placed above is of the RED tulip in our front yard. Although this photo looks fake, this is actually how it looks..weird if you ask me!

I had a lot of fun with these flowers....given to my mom by the Church. So beautifully made by our LORD, are they not?

The tricky thing about these flowers, is that they were actually purple, but in most of the pictures I took, they turned out blue.....(?) I like the blue better anyhow. :)

BEAUTIFUL!
I just love taking pictures of flowers!

Caulking

SUCH a beautiful shower!

All ready to go! Caitlin and I had the job of caulking grandpa's new shower. I don't have pic's of what it looks like with the shower hose and everything, but I'm telling ya, it looks fit for a king!

Welcome to the world Nickolas...

*bummer* this is one of the Few pictures that Nickolas had his eyes closed. But he is cute eyes closed, or eyes open. :)
Agreed?
*smile* Love his little hat!!! <3
Aunt Rebbecca is holding the little fella. :) Then that is Houng next to her, and Anthony on the right. They are all happy for their new cousin. :)
Mama loves her little boy.

He is SO active, and interested in everything......Yep, sure is a Koch!!
And surprisingly he does not cry hardly at all! *smile* I can't wait to see you tomorrow Nickolas Maximus!!!

P.S. While Papa, Caitlin, and I were making dinner we were talking about Maximus, and Papa said, "ya, we will have to call him 'littlemus' and then we will let him know when he will get to be called 'maximus.' *lol*

Thank the LORD for blessings such as these!!

Meet Nickolas Maximus....

WORLDS MOST ADORABLE BABY....STARE IF YOU MUST

This picture was taken only minutes after he was born. (I can't stop saying his name!!!! .....Nickolas Maximus, oh SO cute!!!!!!)

Grandma and Grandchild. Grandma was so overcome with joy that she started crying....I did too, but I tried not to show it. :p

Jacob was not feeling well, so he did not show his feelings that much. :( But I am SURE he will love his new little brother. <3  Nickolas is already acting like Jacob. He has not stopped opening his eyes since he was born. :)
