Wow-we sure have been busy! I'll give you a few accounts of what we've been up to lately-
Tuesday- We had a "Family Shopping day." We went to Goodwill, our favorite, Costco, and a few other stores too.
Wednesday- Caitlin, Papa, and I had to do an extra job for Cascade Inn- planting almost 700 flowers. Wowsers. It was not all that bad though.
Thursday- Work. We did regular maintenance at the Cemetery, Suburban door, United Methodist Church, and Cinema. Right after that we went to Gileskirk. Joshua. V, Heather, and Gabe were on lecture discussion.
Friday- Work. We did Points West, an association with around 53 homes, and the Assisted Living, (Cascade Inn) We had to do extra pruning for Cascade Inn because the managers were coming in, and we wanted everything to look sharp. We also took care of their moss. After a long hard days work, we came home to a nice dinner, and watched my #1 favorite movie. Prince of Persia. It was so relaxing to come home from work and just lay there watching a movie. It feels wonderful!
Sunday- Weekly Worship. It was also Jacob's 3rd birthday. I'm mad at him. :ol He is growing up WAY too fast! His language is getting better and better and he is starting to get picky about the clothes he wears. It seems just like yesterday when all the girls at church were holding him and remarking on his huge head. Days sure do fly by. Anywho, when we came home from Church, my grandparents, (Leider) were at our house and Jacob opened his gifts.
Monday- My Grandparents so lovingly took us all out to breakfast at the Oak Tree. I have Divine Blueberry pancakes. Yummmm! After that we all went to Goodwill, by the time we were done, it was lunch time. So, Grandparents, being there to spoil their grandkiddos, took us all out to "lunch" at 'Don and Joes'. We had MASSIVE milkshakes, that I was not even able to finish half of, they were so huge. -got to love Grandparents- Then they had to leave. *sniff* We all same home and Papa, Caitlin, and I went to Cascade Inn, to prune a couple more bushes before the owners came, and on the way back home one of our inner back tires blew!!! And you know what sound the tire makes when that happens? "SLAP, SLAP,SLAP,SLAP!!!!!" Every eye that we passed stared at us...I must say, it got a little embarrassing. ;p We practically crawled to Costco to see if they had the right tire. But it was not going to be that easy. Of course they did not have the right one, so we had to go to Les Schwab in minnihaha. I was surprised we made it without blowing another tire, because the truck was full of grass. We got there and they said that they would not be able to work on it for another hour. Like we were going to wait in their waiting room that long! So we took a walk down the street, and came upon Salvation Army. (second-hand store) Then we came back and waited a little while, and it was done. Thank the Lord! We raced home, had 3 minutes to throw on some clothes and hopped in the van with the rest of the family, to pick up Grandma Koch from the air port. After we picked her up, she looked at couches for her new apartment (Grandpa K.;s old one) and we went out to dinner at the, "macaroni Grill." Really fancy place. (I'll post pictures)
Tuesday- Today we took it easy. And I made a blog post. After a really long time. :)
It's been busy, but I thank the Lord for it.
