Proverbs 16: 6-7

""
Through love and faithfulness sin is atoned for; through the fear of
the LORD a man aviods evil.
When a man's ways are pleasing to the LORD,he makes even his enemies live at peace with him."

TOO COOL!

A little break in the sun called for our...Bronco.
There are two kinds of cars I have fallen in love with. Fortunately we have both of them. :) First is a GT Mustang, (Which always includes side scoops, and a hood scoop) and secondly, a Jeep or Bronco that's top comes off. Oh yes, the LORD has surely blessed me!

"Hi, I'm Nickolas Maximus Batman. Have you seen any villains around here?"

The gift of spring.

Though sun may be slight this spring, the flowers are bountiful and the grass stays green, which always makes me happy. :)

Nickolas. My little brother. My mess maker. My cutie.

Nickolas has this nasty little habit of removing all of the dishes from the bottom cupboards and throwing their content in the middle of the kitchen. (Just to make it easier for his sister to cook dinner of course!)
 "What?"
"....I think she's getting mad at me....."
 "....oh well."
"No, wait. I think she means it this time. Maybe I really AM in trouble...."
After I clean it up- "Here we go again! Next time she finds out, I'll just give her 'the look' and all will be well."
"Doesn't seem to work this time..."
"Nope, I was right in the first place! She's cracking up now! Victory!"
"I'll just do a couple cute faces to make amends."

 "Hey! What's that!?"
"*chuckle* That's weird."
"Now, If you're done taking pictures, I'll just get back to work."

Photo-shoot with the Mack Gals.

We had the joy of having the Mack family over on Sunday, and it was an absolute blast. Whenever they come over Kayla and I have a photo-shoot up at the barn, or out in the field. It is so nice to have a friend interested in photography!
I actually got photos taken of me! Can you believe it?!?!

Andra joined in, during the last few minutes.

Thank the Lord for friends!!!

Jillian and I.

Jillian and I were all ready to bake a cake for Nemo's 5th birthday. It was going to be an almost two foot long sword, with *bloody* red sprinkles on the tip. Oh yes, we had our work cut out for us. It was a bit difficult, but it was a load of fun. (which, in the end, is what counts) Sorry, I was extremely stupid not to take a picture right after I finished decorating it. I'll make an effort to take one tomorrow. :)
 She licked that spoon clean.
Yes I know, she is not even looking at the camera...she was too interested in making the batter level. (Photography credit goes to Alainna Koch)
What would baking be without licking the spoon, right?

Cows.

So, we finally got cows. There is a thing about cows that makes you feel like a true farmer. You just want to grab 'em cowboy boots, plop on that 'ol cowboy hat, chew some straw, and watch 'em cows graze in that there field. Aah, the country life. Too good.

The new Look.

As many of you probably have noticed, I don't stick with the same blog background for very long. I absolutely love to find a new design, and fiddle with the colors, etc. This time I actually designed the fonts on the banner myself, and have fallen positively in love with it! So, I would love to know what you think of it! And, don't worry, when I say I'd like to hear what you think of it, I mean it. I am perfectly fine with you saying that you think it's a horrendous background, and you hate the fonts I chose, because you know what? I like it. I would just like to hear what YOU think of it, not what you think I'd like to hear. :o) Now that that's clear, I'll end this post, and head off to do the mountains of dishes I made after making cinnamon rolls.
Happy spring day, and enjoy the sun Y'all.

Spring Flower.

I have absolutely fallen in love with this flower photo. Mainly because of the sparkle in the raindrop. Oh, how I love it! Spring, though difficult for landscapers, is positively beautiful.

Live like you are dying

I have just added a new song on my blog, that you should definitely take the time to listen to and think about. This song came out right when my Grandpa Koch found out that he had cancer, and I really try to take it to heart.  Life is too short to hold grudges, and be angry. If you have children, spend all of the time you can have with them, and pour your love on them, because you will not have this time forever. The same goes for children to their siblings and parents. I remember my Papa telling me last summer to jump in the river, and I really did not want to because I had JUST washed my hair and styled it, and I did not want to change, and I would have to take a shower after I did. Then my wise Papa told me, "You will not have this day again. In a few years you will look back on this day and would wish that you had made the most out of it." He was right, and I jumped in, and had a whole lot of fun...and you know what? I remembered that day, and cherish it.
So take the time to listen to this song, and really think about it, because life is the most colorful and joyful, if you live like you're dying.
