San Diego. (Day:one)

Hey Y'all! Well, we're back! We weren't there for a long time, but we were there for a good time...and that's just what we had. As usual, I took a ton of photos on our trip that I'll eventually get on the blog. It might take a while. :)

We left for California on Monday, and arrived at the air port at around 4:00am. That was one of the most enjoyable flights I've ever, EVER been on. Since my 'more-than-amazing' Grandmother went with us, we got a lot of special attention, stuff, and honors. (....not trying to make you jelous here.)
(above) This is what Caitlin and I always look like at around 3:30am, right? HA! Never! This morning was special, so that ment a big smile for the camera even when we could barely keep our eyes open. :)
 My Grandma!!!

Remember I was talking about special honors and attentions? Well, this was one of the things  I was talking about. :) The flight attendant let us go out on the "deck thing" that is on the side of the plane, and she took our photos! -How fun is that?!?!?

Landed in San Diego!!! Oh my goodness, the sun was a.m.a.z.i.n.g.  It was warm, sunny, and absolutely perfect.
Palm trees! I *love* palm trees.
This was some of the view we had from our room. (We stayed at the Marriot on the "elite's" level.)
They had just recently re-done their pool since last I came here.
 Pretty nice, hu?
 View looking out.
Enjoying the sun before heading down to the village for lunch.

 Yay for orange!

 Bannana tree-

I got a shirt from these people. Nice store.

There was a mirror on the ceiling of the elevator, which was super fun/cool.

 Pool time!

Ohhhh, yeah. Time to start the sun bathing!

LOVED this card!!!

If you were in the elite's level, there was a whole lounge thing for you, where you would be served a huge full breakfast, snacks of dried cherries, cranberries, fruit, nuts, pop, water, candy, starbucks coffee, and more, orderves (which we treated like dinner) and nice desserts. It was all super good food!

My Aunt Cindy and Papa were having a lot of fun teasing eachother. Siblings are a wonderful thing!

(Aunt Cindy 'tried' to punch Papa, but Papa just sat there like nothing even happened. *smiles*)

She wasn't going to talk to him. :p    jk.
 That's MY Papa!!!

 Sisters. <3
 We're kinda sun burned, hu?

That fire felt soooo good when the night was getting a little chilly.

This is some of the dessert they had that night. Super good! It was sort of a light lemon cake thing, wieth lemon glaze, topped with a fresh blackberry. Then they had some home-made cheese cake. YUM!
After dessert, we all went up to our rooms and watched "deadliest catch" (a crabbing show) and Iron Chef. (my favorite!)

That ends our first day there. Soli Deo Gloria!
